In March of 2000, Cottage Interiors began as
Stillwater Blind Company, a small business
offering ultrasonic blind cleaning, blind repair
and new blind sales.
When the popularity of wood and composite wood products skyrocketed,
the need for ultrasonic blind cleaning decreased, Our focus became
new products for the home, specifically blinds, shades and shutters.
We quickly found a niche in the window treatment market by offering
personal, in-home service, quality products, great prices and a positive
attitude.
Over the next few years, we experienced a growing interest in soft
window treatments such as draperies, valances, and Roman shades. We
began fabricating these soft home furnishings for our blind and shutter
customers on request, and through word of mouth from these satisfied
customers our business found success with its new direction.
While still specializing in window treatments, Stillwater Blind Company
changed its name in 2006 to Cottage Interiors, which better reflects the
many services available to our customers.
In 2007 Lorinda attended the prestigious Custom Home Furnishings
Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina, to increase her knowledge and
skills in the field of soft treatments.
From blinds, shutters, shades and draperies, to pillows, cushions,
bedding and upholstery, we can help make your house a distinctive and
tasteful home.
We call it "CI Style", making any room or house feel warm and cozy...
